πΌ DIAPER NEED AWARENESS WEEK β DAY 1 πΌ
Diapers are more than a necessity, theyβre an essential part of keeping babies healthy, comfortable, and thriving. π
In Oswego County, there are 4,669 children ages 3 and under. Of those children, approximately 2,700 live in households that struggle to make ends meet.
If the Oswego County Diaper Bank were to provide each of those children with a supplemental 50 diapers per month, the need would be staggering:
πΆ 1,620,000 diapers every year
π Approximately $324,000 in diapers
These numbers remind us just how significant diaper need is in our community, and why the work of the Oswego County Diaper Bank matters so much.
During Diaper Need Awareness Week, weβre shining a light on this often-overlooked challenge and the families right here in Oswego County who need our support.
π A special thank-you to the Richard S. Shineman Foundation for their generous funding support. Your investment helps OCECA and the Oswego County Diaper Bank work toward ensuring local babies have access to the diapers they need.
Together, we can help keep Oswego Countyβs littlest residents clean, healthy, and comfortable. π
