STORM DAMAGE ALERT!

Catlin Park has several large trees down on the park road. Expect periodic Road or Park closures over the next several days as we clean up the debris.

ALL TRAILS ARE FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY!

Due to the amount of trees and branches down within the trail system..

CATLIN PARK IS NOT ALLOWING HORSES ON ANY TRAILS.

Please be patient it may take a week or longer to open trails back up to horses.

Catlin Park will open at 6 a.m. and close at sunset from Saturday, June 13th through Sunday, June 21st. On Monday, June 22 Catlin Park will return to its normal hours of sunrise - sunset.

TRAILS CLOSED!

This saturday, May 30th, Catlin Park's east trails will be closed to the public for LaSalle County EMA search and rescue training. The closure is from area 1 eastward; trails closed will include back gate trail, brown creek trail, coyote run, the back 40, and all lower creek trails. Trails will reopen at the conclusion of the event, approximately 3 p.m.

The LaSalle County Parks have new rules and regulations.

We are happy to announce that includes new hours for Catlin Park. Visitors may now enjoy Catlin from sunrise to sunset.

Horses are still welcome at Catlin from May 1st through October 31st.

Another notable change is that bicyles and E-bikes are NOT allowed on trails in LaSalle County Parks.

Spring has sprung! Ephemerals are blooming! Get out into nature and explore all the beauty our parks have to offer.

Winter hours have begun at Catlin Park: 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.; ending April 30th. Also at Catlin, hunting starts November 1st and ends January 18th. The east/lower creek trails will be closed during hunting season.
