Did you know? In 1854, Palmer Township was the part of Putnam County to organize its local government. The Great Black Swamp was especially hard to clear and drain there, so it was among the last parts of the county to be settled.

Just one week until the author meet and greet with David Fierst!

David, a native of Dayton and an accomplished author, recounts the journey of how his book was inspired by his visit to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

He will have copies of "Hidden Disgrace: Revealing the Distress Signals Covered by North American Indian Myths" available for purchase.
