For over 50 years, the Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities (PCBDD), formerly known as Brookhill Center, has provided a full range of services from very young children to the elderly who have developmental disabilities/delays in Putnam County. We are able to do this by collaborating with a number of community entities to help improve the lives of those we serve.

Inclusive employment gives people with developmental disabilities opportunities to use their strengths, develop new skills, earn an income, build relationships, and become more connected to their community. 💜

And every person’s employment goals can look different. The focus should be on the individual: What are they interested in? What are they good at? What support might help them succeed?

During National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we’re celebrating employees with disabilities and the businesses that create opportunities for people of all abilities to contribute.
