Help shape LaSalle County’s Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan!

LaSalle County and the North Central Illinois Council of Governments are updating the county’s Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan, and we want to hear from you. Residents, businesses, schools, and community organizations all have valuable local knowledge about the hazards our communities face, and your input will help guide how we prepare for them. An updated plan can also open the door to funding opportunities for local municipalities.

Join us for the kickoff meeting:

📍 LaSalle County Emergency Operations Center, off Etna Road in Ottawa (behind the Main Building)

Congratulations Chief Judge Holland! We look forward to working with you.

The courts serving the Illinois Valley area have a new chief judge. H. Chris Ryan Jr. has retired after nearly 38 years on the bench. Replacing him as chief judge will be Troy D. Holland.
