A look back at Saturday’s Open House! 🚒

We had a great afternoon welcoming everyone to Wallace Fire and giving the community a chance to get an up-close look at some of the equipment and resources available throughout our area.

A big thank you to LaSalle County Emergency Management Agency, Lasalle County Sheriff's Office, OSF LifeFlight, and everyone else who joined us and helped make the afternoon a success. From fire apparatus and emergency equipment to the K-9 demonstration and Life Flight, there was plenty to see.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by, brought the kids, visited with our members, and spent part of the day with us. We appreciate the continued support of the Wallace Fire Protection District and look forward to doing it again! 🇺🇸🚒

When the Sheriff’s Office asks for a volunteer… one of our members apparently took that seriously. 😂

During Saturday’s Open House, the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit gave everyone a firsthand look at the training and capabilities of their K-9 team — with one of our Wallace members suiting up to help with the demonstration.

Thanks to the Sheriff’s Office and their K-9 team for coming out and giving everyone a great demonstration! 🐕‍🦺🚒

And yes… he survived. 😅

Come down to Starved Rock Yacht Club on Sunday for the water fights. Teams can sign up that day!

Do you have your teams ready for this weekend!? Sunday the 6th we will have the fire dept back with the barrel challenge, that has quickly become a crowd favorite at Labor Day! Wrist bands that get you access to the whole weekend are just $10 and we would suggest a donation to the fire department if you can to help support them and thank them for taking their time to come out and help put this on! Get Wet and Wild with SRYC this weekend!

🔥 THANK YOU! 🔥

What an incredible night! The Wallace Fire Protection District and the Wallace Firefighters Association would like to sincerely thank everyone who came out and supported our Pork Chop Dinner & Draw Down!

We had a fantastic turnout, and it was great seeing so many friends, neighbors, and members of our community come together, enjoy some great food, have a good time, and support Wallace Fire.

Thank you to everyone who purchased dinner and Draw Down tickets, made donations, and helped make the evening such a success. Your continued support means more to our department and our members than we can say.

We truly appreciate everyone who spent the evening with us and helped make this year’s event one to remember.

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year — and we hope to see everyone back! 🔥
