United Way of Franklin County, KS Our mission is to unite businesses, organizations and individuals for the wellbeing of our community.

United Way of Franklin County is the leadership and support organization for a network of 16 Member Agencies. By mobilizing the caring power of community members like you, United Way and our Member Agencies work together to promote healthy lifestyles, improve local education at all levels, and help people achieve financial stability. United Way of Franklin County’s Member Agencies include the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, CASA, Children's Mercy Hospital, Communities In Schools, ECKAN, Elizabeth Layton Center, Habitat for Humanity, Hope House, LifeCare Center for Women, Mid-America Nutrition Program, Inc. (Meals on Wheels), tiny-k Early Intervention (Ottawa/Wellsville Infant Toddler), Ottawa Recreation Foundation’s Summer Playground Program, United Cerebral Palsy and The Willow Domestic Violence Center.

We had the privilege of presenting CASA of the Fourth Judicial District - Anderson/Coffey/Franklin/Osage another check for $1500 for the amazing work they do in Franklin County!

We are so grateful for the continued support CASA receives from the United Way of Franklin County, KS. Their financial investment helps us continue our mission of advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect—ensuring that every child has a voice in court and a chance at a brighter future.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Leigh Hanson—we always enjoy her visits. Her encouragement, energy, and genuine care for this community are such a gift. 🥰

We’re proud to partner with an organization that does so much good across Franklin County. Thank you, United Way, for all that you do—not just for CASA, but for so many others who serve and support those in need.

IMPORTANT HOPE HOUSE UPDATE 🏠🔨

Hope House will be CLOSED starting Tuesday, August 18, 2026 as we begin work on our roof.

We are planning for the closure to last approximately 2 weeks, or until the roof is completed.

We know this closure may be an inconvenience for those who rely on Hope House, and we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support while we make these important repairs.

Our goal is to get the work completed safely and get Hope House back open to serving our community as soon as possible. ❤️

Call me Monday through Wednesday next week to arrange a time to drop off your donations! A Monday afternoon donation drop off at the Carnegie would be best so that we have time to sort and deliver the supplies to First Baptist for the Back to School Bash! Call me! 785-418-2015
