When someone is in need of assistance - Firefighters answer the call and are willing to do virtually anything to help in their time of need.

The Brotherhood & Sisterhood is strong in the Fire Service so when one of our own is in need - we pull out all the stops to help out.

Join Us - Mutual Aid Fire Departments - in rallying behind Firefighter Brian Berheide as he fights his fight. Let us help take off some of the financial stresses that they may experience.

Join us for a Chicken BBQ like no other. We will be serving a huge amount of chicken with 2 locations at both the Kalida Fire Station and at the Continental Fire Station. We will start serving drive thru at both locations at 11:00 till sold out.

Bring extra cash as we will he hosting a Fill the Boot as well with the proceeds going to Brian’s fight.

Want to join in the camaraderie? Show up at 07:00 at Kalida Fire Station when we will begin preparing the food.

Today we got to do another extrication training.

The training covered vehicle stabilization, coordinated lifting operations, and scene safety, with a strong emphasis on creating maximum patient access while minimizing movement and risk to the occupant. Excellent teamwork and solid hands-on practice with the advanced ‘Crack the Egg’ extrication technique

“Cracking the Egg” is a specialized vehicle extrication technique used in emergency rescue operations, primarily for cars overturned on their roof.

Thank you Chad Landin for donating the car for us to train on.

Today we trained on extrication
This extrication training scenario involved a vehicle that had rolled onto its side and become pinned beneath a large fallen tree. Firefighters practiced scene stabilization, tree removal, vehicle access, and patient extrication techniques in a complex rescue environment.

We would like to thank Chad landin for donating the car we used to train with.
