Kudos to Ouray County Coroner Glenn Boyd for recently being recognized for his years of dedicated service as a board member to the Colorado Coroner's Association from 2023-2026.

Proclamations for Breast Cancer Awareness and Hispanic Heritage Month were presented by staff, and Mariah, Program Coordinator with PEER Kindness, Inc., presented their Bullying Prevention proclamation. ๐Ÿค” What's the scoop on the bridge at Corbett Creek? While our crew and communications department were busy on the Gold Mountain fire and flooding this summer, work was still going strong on the bridge project on CR-17. As the project nears its completion (likely in the next couple weeks!) we wanted to share some phots and video of the project progress. The first photos are from previous years, which remind us how this tranquil little creek can cause a lot of destruction. We're looking forward to the bridge's completion which will help keep this road more intact when flooding, allowing emergency crews and public travel in case of detours or evacuations. We'll keep you posted on the completion!
