In Week 7 of Tackle Hunger V, Pattonville High School and Parkway North High School collected 1,693 pounds of food for neighbors facing hunger. That's enough to help Operation Food Search provide nutritious food to 423 people for one day!

The 26th annual Warners’ Warm-Up Coat Drive is officially here! 🧥

From Oct. 19 through Nov. 1, donate new or gently used coats at one of 100+ drop-off locations across the bi-state region. Last year, our community donated nearly 9,000 coats and other winter essentials to help neighbors stay warm.

Special thanks to Kurt Warner and the First Things First Foundation for partnering with us once again! Donations collected through the coat drive will be sorted and distributed by Operation Food Search through our network of partner agencies to support individuals and families throughout the region.

We are honored to share that Operation Food Search was recognized with the Spirit of Partnership Award at The Little Bit Foundation's Join the Journey Gala.

Since 2013, our partnership with The Little Bit Foundation has helped break down barriers for students with limited resources, recognizing that good nutrition is essential to a child's health, development, and academic success. Together, through the Sunny’s Closet program, we have provided more than 657,000 nutritious, kid-friendly meals to students at Little Bit partner schools.

We are grateful to The Little Bit Foundation for this recognition and for a partnership built on a shared belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

The race for the Tackle Hunger V title is heating up! 🏈 Notre Dame High School - St. Louis jumped to the top of the leaderboard this week, while Orchard Farm School District and St. Charles High School went head-to-head on the field and in food drives, scoring Orchard Farm a double victory.

Thank you to the students, supporters, and school communities who stepped up to make a difference! Together, Week 6 participants collected enough food to help Operation Food Search provide quality nutrition to 1,587 neighbors for one day. 💚

✨ Feast for Change 2026 was one for the books! ✨

On September 12, community leaders, changemakers, supporters, and friends gathered at the historic Norwood Hills Country Club to celebrate Operation Food Search's 45-year legacy of neighbors feeding neighbors. From a vibrant pop-up farmers market featuring local vendors to locally sourced cuisine and one-of-a-kind auction experiences, the evening showcased the power of community in action.

We were proud to recognize Martha Kratzer and Lynn Morley as recipients of the 2026 OFS Champion for Change Award. Special thanks to our incredible emcee and auctioneer, Rene Knott, for bringing energy, heart, and enthusiasm to the event.

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, committee members, attendees, donors, and friends, this year's Feast for Change raised more than $235,000 in net proceeds to help advance our mission of creating a hunger-free St. Louis region.

To everyone who showed up, gave generously, and made the evening one to cherish: thank you. We are deeply grateful for your support and partnership in helping our neighbors thrive.
