I'm camphosting in SNP, and a raven flew over the ranger station .....thank God the wildlife specialist was visiting....she said the raven said...
"Did you hear the news? Our outgoing President Kelsey Chandler has volunteered to be our Club Secretary for 2026-2027!"
Folks, Kelsey is our youngest member. We need more like her to maintain our goals of helping youth in our community.
Let's give Kelsey all the support she needs. I'm proud to call her a fellow Kiwanian and a friend!

Last week's meeting speakers were two of our favorite workers from A New Hope Center. We host 2 showers for them each year. In the Spring, we hold an ALL THINGS BABY SHOWER, and in the Fall we host an ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOWER.
Both showers are for the Shelter House that New Hope operates.
We hope that all who have dwelled in the New Hope Shelter know we Kiwanians love, care and support them no matter their crisis.
We support youth and families in need in our community.
Thanks for speaking to us today and keeping us up to date.

It was time to share funds with youth activities in Owego.
Jenna Bowen owner of Owego Gymnastics and Ron Harris President of Tiahwaga Community Players happily accepted our annual giving checks.
Both groups have high level youth programs that Owego Kiwanis is proud to support. These organization provide programming that keeps kids mentally, physically and culturally sharp. Confidence and knowledge builds as we continue to support our youth.
Thanks to Jenna and Ron for longevity in their fields.
Don't be strangers. Keep Kiwanis in mind for projects that need volunteers.
