Honoring Heroes: Roman Sones 💙
This week, we’re proud to recognize Roman Sones, our Training Coordinator, for his leadership and commitment to developing the men and women of the Oxford Police Department.
“Roman plays a critical role in making sure our officers and staff are moving in the same direction through consistent, purposeful training.
His focus is helping us build the 360° officer—tactically proficient, strong communicators, capable leaders, and committed to overall wellness.
The goal is simple: develop officers who are prepared in every category, making them better on duty and better off duty.
Roman’s experience in both the military and law enforcement brings our department a valuable balance of training, knowledge, leadership, and real-world experience.
We are grateful for his service, his leadership, and his commitment to developing our people.”
— Chief Jeff McCutchen
Thank you, Roman, for investing in our officers and staff and helping ensure our team is prepared to serve our community with excellence. 💙👏
