Good morning! As we end grant year FY26, we want to take a look back on the accomplishments from this year. In FY26, we trained 256 officers in SFST, 101 officers in ARIDE, and 13 SFST Instructors! What a year, and we are so proud of each student that came through & their commitment to public safety. We’d also like to thank the agencies and department heads that not only sent officers to our classes, but also; for supporting our program by allowing your officers who are Instructors to come and teach for us! Thank You!

We are looking forward to a great FY27, and we are currently working on scheduling classes for the second quarter. Our first quarter classes are all on our website and registration is currently open.

We look forward to training with you!

The best way to avoid a DUI is simple. If you’re high, don't drive. Find another way home. Drive High, Get a DUI. Mississippi Law Enforcement will be out in full force. Make the smart decision for yourself and others.

This Labor Day weekend, law enforcement will be on the lookout for impaired drivers. If you're drinking, don't get behind the wheel. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.

Instructors from our team are proud to be attending the 2026 Impaired Driving and Traffic Safety (IDTS) Conference in Anaheim,CA. IDTS is the largest training conference for Drug Recognition Experts and Traffic Safety Professionals. Attendees from around the world gather to share knowledge about effective and proven approaches for improving road safety, the latest science on alcohol and drug impaired driving enforcement, how technology can be leveraged to make communities safer, and how agencies can use traffic safety education to engage and build trust with their communities. The knowledge obtained from these classes will be brought back and implemented not only to our program, but also; to the agencies represented here by our adjunct Instructors.

We are grateful for this extraordinary opportunity & thank our Instructors for their willingness to take time away from their families & life to improve their skills and abilities, as well as; to benefit the program as a whole!

A special ‘Thank You’ to our MS Attorney General’s Office Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) Ms.Molly Miller for taking the photo for us!

Last week, 13 Instructor Candidates descended on Hattiesburg to try and earn their SFST Instructor Certification. Through hard work, late nights, and early mornings; I’m proud to say all 13 met the standard and succeeded! These Instructors from all over the state worked extremely hard to achieve this honorable achievement.
Congratulations to Christopher Kimmons & Dillion Cates on earning the honor of becoming a Master Instructor.
We are very thankful to all the Master Instructors and staff who made this week such a success, we truly could not have done it without you!

We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all Americans should have safe roads on Independence Day. Plan for a sober ride:

🧨 Call a taxi
🧨 Have a sober friend drive you home
