We meet regularly to discuss policy and ideology, develop our professional skills, and to hear from invited speakers, including members of congress, state representatives, state senators, and other political and business leaders. We are proud to offer our members many great opportunities: campaign involvement, social events, networking events, our annual trip to CPAC in Washington, D.C., and much more. Thank you to the hundreds of students and community members who joined us at Brick Street for the Redhawks Rally!

We were proud to host Ohio Gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, UFC legend Bo Nickal, and canidate for Ohio State Senate District 7 Zac Haines, alongside the Ohio College Republican Federation.

This was one of the biggest events of the semester! More to come!🇺🇸

On Tuesday many of our members attended the biannual Janus Forum with former Speaker of the House, 2012 Vice Presidential Candidate, and Miami Alumni Paul Ryan ‘92!

Speaker Ryan was kind enough to sit down with the CRs for a lengthy discussion about leadership, civil society, and the American political system.

During the forum he had a conversation across the isle with his friend, former Ambassador to the Netherlands, and Miami Alumni Shefali Razdan ‘93.

We would like to thank Speaker Paul Ryan for his time and insight and the JANUS Forum for putting on the event!

The MUCRs have had a busy week!

Last Wednesday we hosted our cookout at Peffer Park with Congressman Warren Davidson as he shared stories from his time in Congress, discussed current events, and took questions from our members!

This past Saturday we hit hundreds doors for Eric Conroy, Jon Husted, and Miami University Trustee and State Senate Candidate Zac Haines in Warren County, Ohio!

In the evening we joined the Butler County Republican Party at their Red, White, and Runway event at the Butler County Regional Airport. It was great to hear from all of the statewide and local candidates!
