Good Afternoon again!!!!

Here are the latest details with respect to Hurricane Rachel. The hurricane WILL NOT make landfall across California. However, it will generate southerly swells. With the southerly swell, elevated surf, strong and dangerous rip currents and the risk of minor coastal flooding are the main concerns.

Given the upcoming heat waves, many people will likely head to the beach for some relief. If so, be aware of the above-mentioned coastal hazards. Listen to directions from the local lifeguards.
