TONIGHT | PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY TOWN HALL & SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
If you have concerns about public safety, crime, morale inside law enforcement, rebuilding trust and dignity in the profession, careers and appointments, contracts and grants, opportunities for Prince George’s County residents, one-party dominance, or the future we are creating for our young people, this is a conversation you do not want to miss.
Tonight, I plan to cover as much as possible in one hour.
We will talk about the constitutional role of the Sheriff, warrants, fugitives, court security, civil process, prisoner transportation, recruitment, training, technology, accountability, executive leadership, and what it will take to change organizational culture.
We will also talk about opportunity.
Who gets access to careers?
Who gets considered for executive-level positions?
Who receives contracts and grants?
Are Prince George’s County residents being fully considered for opportunities in their own county?
And what happens when political competition becomes too weak and institutions become too comfortable?
These are the kinds of questions residents deserve to ask openly.
I will also discuss my experience with the U.S. Department of Justice / U.S. Marshals Service, including D.C. Superior Court operations, federal Witness Security, fugitive-task-force operations, and the executive experience I believe is necessary to rebuild confidence in public safety.
This is not a scripted session.
Bring your questions.
Bring your concerns.
Bring your ideas.
