MVP CUSTOMERS:
Budget Billing Sign-Up is Almost Over for This Year! You still have time as sign-up is open until September 30th, 2026. If you miss it, you will have to wait until May 1, 2027.
Budget Billing is a program through Mission Valley Power that will keep your payments consistent throughout the year. Your bills are averaged for the past 12 months to arrive at a monthly payment amount. You will pay that fixed payment amount each month for the upcoming year. Each May, your account will be re-evaluated to determine your monthly payment amount for the next year. To be eligible, the customer must not have more than two marks against his or her credit history for the previous twelve consecutive months. Customers may only sign up for Budget Billing from May through September each year. This is to ensure sufficient credit is built up for the winter months. Attention South Shore, Turtle Lake, East Shore, and Finley Point Customers:
MVP will be having a planned power outage next Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for maintenance.
This will be from the South Shore Sub along the East Shore. This will include Turtle Lake and all of Finley Pt (Affected lines shown in green).

Attention all MVP customers:
Our billing company has sent out some new notification calls to many of you today, coming from an 855 area code. These are legitimate calls, just notifying you that your bill was run yesterday and giving you the option to pay by phone through that call. You can pay through their prompts if you'd like; it will be a secure payment. You can also opt to pay as you normally would, based on your payment due date. We apologize for any confusion or alarm this may have caused.

Mission Valley Power Vegetation Management Notice:
Mission Valley Power is committed to providing safe, reliable electric service to our customers. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve power reliability, our crews will conduct an intensive vegetation management project from July 13–16. During this time, we will take an all-hands-on-deck approach to clearing trees and brush from several of our most problematic power line right-of-way areas. Removing vegetation that can interfere with power lines helps reduce outages, improves system reliability, and enhances public safety.
Crews will work in the following areas:
• Courville Trail (Haystack Mountain Road, Snyder Hill/Canal Road)
• Fulkerson Lane (downstream from the source fuse, including Moss Creek Lane)
• Melita Island (Labella Lane, Melita Island Road, Silver Rock, and Acacia Lane)
• Turtle Lake Road
Customers in these areas may notice increased crew activity and equipment use during the project. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work to strengthen the reliability of our electric system. These efforts are part of the MVP strategy to reduce wildfire risk and provide our customers with the best possible electric infrastructure.
