Storytime programs are presented for preschool children ages 3 to 5 and include stories, finger plays, and action rhymes. Caregivers must remain in the library during storytime; however, they cannot accompany children into the programs. In consideration of all participants, programs will start promptly at the assigned times. In order to minimize distractions, latecomers will not be admitted.

If this will be your first storytime visit, we invite you to come to the library before your first adventure to meet your storytime presenter, pick up a welcome packet, explore our children’s area, and enjoy a tour of the library!

The Fall session of Preschool Storytime runs from September 14 - December 4, with a break the week of Thanksgiving. Speak with a staff member for more information.

Toddler Time is a program for children ages 18 to 36 months who attend with a caregiver. One child and one adult register together for songs, stories, rhymes, and other fun activities. These interactions will be one-on-one; therefore, each child must attend with a separate caregiver. You will also be given ideas to use at home which reinforce the theme for the day. This program lasts 20 minutes.

Toddler Time requires registration; space is limited. It is not a drop-in program. Registration begins August 17 at your library; visit your library for a registration form.

The Fall session of Toddler Time runs from September 14 - December 4, with a break the week of Thanksgiving. Speak with a staff member for more information.
