Thank you for joining us last month and making beautiful hand painted taper candles with Forager Studio! Enjoy these photos of the colorful and imaginative creations that were made, and keep an eye out for upcoming arts and crafts programming at the Palisades Library bungalows.

Join Franklin Haynes Marionettes as they open the 2026 Summer Library series with their variety puppet show, "Marionette Magic!" This isn't a magic show, but it is a magical experience. The show features a mix of characters. Each will be spotlighted to show off their individual talents. The performance highlights the enchantment of hand-crafted marionettes and the art of puppetry. Children of all ages and their grown-ups are invited to a magical 30-minute performance. Afterward, enjoy a 15-minute puppet workshop. During the workshop, children will explore the wondrous art of puppetry. A collection of puppets and marionettes will be shared and touched.

The Friends of Palisades Library are hard at work and getting ready for the return of the book sale! Join us at the bungalow this Saturday May 30 from 9AM-3PM for new and gently used books and familiar faces. We can't wait to see you there!

Join us this Wednesday for an exciting hands-on crafting workshop with local artist Cindy Simon, the creator of Palisades Library's famous homemade dollhouse! Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about upcycled crafting, as well as create their own work. This event is for children of all ages and their grown-ups.
