Senior Citizen Center Update
As many of you know our Senior Citizens are currently going through a 60-day transition phase until Project Heart takes over. Our overall goal is to try to feed our seniors Monday-Wednesday for 60 days. This wouldn’t be possible without our communities help!
I am happy to announce, with the generosity & kindness of our local community this far, we are able to start serving meals to our seniors starting tomorrow!
The Town is aware that there was some seniors who was denied under the previous management “New Age Project. All of those seniors who were denied will now be able to get meals. These meals will be provided to all of our seniors in the community who lives in the Paden district. If you are unsure if you qualify for a meal, please stop by our Senior center from 8-1 Monday-Wednesday to talk to Teri Ulhman.
The Town would like to give a heartfelt thank you and appreciation to all the businesses in our community, all the churches in our community, the business and churches in Prague and Okemah, our wonderful community, friends, and neighbors who have all donated this far. This Goal for our Paden Senior Citizens wouldn’t be possible without you all.
The Town would also like to say thank you to our Board members, Teri Ulhman, and Mickey White for all your hard work in helping make this happen as well.
Our Senior Center is more than a place to gather. It is a place of friendship, connection, compassion, and care.
Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to come together during a challenging time mean more to us than words can express. Our Seniors are still accepting donations to help them get through the remaining 60-day transition. Every Donation, no matter the amount, makes a meaningful difference in helping us continue providing meals and support to the seniors who depend on these important services.
If you are unable to give financially, sharing this message and spreading the word would mean just as much.
We are truly blessed to live in a community that cares deeply for its seniors!
