𝐊𝐘𝐓𝐂 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 (𝑇𝑎𝑘𝑒𝑛 𝑂𝑐𝑡. 12, 2026): Work continues on the McCracken County portion of new U.S. 60 alignment near the McCracken-Ballard County Line.

When completed, the new U.S. 60 corridor from the existing four-lane highway in McCracken County to just west of Kevil will be a continuous four-lane highway.

Overall project completion is expected by the end of November.

𝐵𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑡! Expect increased traffic on Saturday, Oct. 24, along U.S. 68 near Mike Miller Park in Marshall County during Boo Bash activities. Please slow down and use caution.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬/𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – Later today, Friday, Oct. 23, a KYTC contractor plans to shift traffic to the other lane on U.S. 51 at mile point 2.4 in Hickman County, as work begins on Phase 2 of a bridge replacement project. Please watch for flaggers and use caution.

The bridge over Cane Creek, located south of Clinton between KY 1529 and the Hickman-Fulton County Line, is being replaced.

For the duration of the project, traffic is restricted to one lane and controlled by a temporary traffic signal, allowing vehicles to alternate through the work zone. There is also a 11-foot lane width restriction.

The project is expected to be completed by summer 2027.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – A KYTC contractor plans to implement a week-long closure along KY 305/Cairo Road in McCracken County starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26.

The closure, located at mile point 7.7 near Carr Road, is necessary for bridge deck repairs. This is along KY 305 between Commerce Drive and KY 998/Olivet Church Road.

The closure will remain in place 24/7 to allow the concrete to cure in the overnight hours.
Work is expected to be completed by end of day Friday, Oct. 30.
Please self-detour.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – KY 1462/Benton-Birmingham Road in Marshall County is open at mile point 0.9, between KY 408/E. 12th Street and KY 1477/Benton Briensburg Road (locally known as Dump Road).

NO closures today, Friday, Oct. 23 and Monday, Oct. 26.

NOTE: The closure originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, will remain to allow crews to complete the bridge load analysis.
The roadway will be blocked between approx. 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please self-detour.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘/𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝟭:𝟮𝟬 𝗔𝗠) – KY 129/State Line Road in Hickman County has reopened near mile point 0, at its intersection with KY 1218.

𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – KY 129/State Line Road in Hickman County is blocked near mile point 0, at its intersection with KY 1218, due to a semi crash.

This is along a section of KY 129 between KY 2150 in Fulton County and KY 943 in Graves County.

Estimated duration is six hours. Please seek alternate routes.

All KYTC Regional Offices will be open this Saturday from 8–11:30 a.m. No appointment needed, just walk on in.

KSP driver and permit testing services are not offered.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – A daytime lane restriction is planned on the U.S. 51 Ohio River “Cairo” Bridge (connecting Wickliffe, KY, and Cairo, IL) between 8 AM and 3 PM Wednesday, Oct. 28, weather permitting, for guardrail repairs.

Expect one-lane alternating traffic. Watch for flaggers and use caution in the work zone.

An update will be issued if the work is completed ahead of schedule.

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 (𝗢𝗰𝘁. 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – Overnight detours (9 PM to 6 AM) are planned on I-24 between Exit 27 (Kentucky Dam/Calvert City) and Exit 31 (Grand Rivers) on Oct. 26 & 27. Both eastbound and westbound detours are possible.

This is part of an ongoing project on I-24 in Marshall County. Crews are finishing guardrail installation and grading work. All work is weather dependent.

𝑬𝑩 𝑫𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓: Take Exit 27, follow U.S. 62 and KY 453 to re-enter I-24 eastbound at Exit 31.
𝑾𝑩 𝑫𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓: Take Exit 31, follow KY 453 and U.S. 62 to re-enter I-24 westbound at Exit 27.

Please allow extra travel time and use caution.
Law enforcement will assist with traffic control.
