The Paducah Tennis Association and Paducah Parks & Recreation are hosting a Halloween Tennis Mixer on Friday, October 30 at the Noble Park Tennis Courts. This FREE event, from 6 to 8 p.m., is for participants ages 15 and older. Please pre-register through Paducah Parks & Recreation.

🎄CHRISTMAS CARDS IN THE PARK 🎄
Help us fill Noble Park with Christmas Cards and holiday cheer this season!
Businesses, organizations, civic groups, and community members are invited to create a giant Christmas card to be displayed throughout the park! Paducah Parks and Recreation holds 50 spaces for replica Christmas cards. The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department will provide the posts to set up the cards, the personnel to install them, and lighting.
📏Card Size: 8 ft tall x 4 ft wide
🔨Material: Metal Alucabond
💰Cost: $100 plus tax
📅Registration Dates: October 1st-October 29th

Serve up fun and fundamentals! Our Youth Volleyball program introduces girls and boys ages 4-8 to the game through exciting activities that build coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Register today! For more information please call (270)444-8508.
This program will meet on Thursdays and one Saturday in November at the Paducah Recreation Center.
Thursday Nights: November 5, 12, 19
Ages 4 & 5 will meet from 5:30-6:15pm
Ages 6-8 will meet from 6:30-7:15pm
Saturday Morning: November 21
Ages 4 & 5 will meet from 9:00-9:45am
Ages 6-8 will meet from 10:00-10:45am

Get ready to dribble, shoot and score! Registration is now open for our Rec Way Basketball at the Paducah Recreation Center. This program is for boys and girls ages K-5th grade. Practices and games are in January and February, call 270-444-8508 for more information.
• Registration Deadline: December 17.
• Fee: $55 (tax included) for K-5th | A 10% multi-child discount is available.
• Clinic: Saturday, December 12. K & 1st Grade: 9 - 9:45 A.M. 2nd & 3rd Grade: 10 - 10:45 A.M. 4th & 5th Grade: 11 - 11:45 A.M. The clinic's goals are instruction, motivation, and lots of excitement to start the season on the right foot.
• Weekly Practices Begin: January 4-7, 2027.
• Games Schedule: Participants will have one practice per week with one game on Saturdays. Games are on the following dates: January 16, 23, and 30 and February 6, 13, and 20.

Sponsorship Opportunities
$200 Team Sponsorship – Team sponsorship includes logo on back of every player's uniform. Recognition on social media and website. Recognition on “Thank You to Sponsors Sign” at Paducah Recreation Center. Proceeds help purchase team equipment and apparel for every player on team.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Bingo Night event on Friday, October 16th at the Paducah Recreation Center. We were thrilled to have such a great turnout! We would also like to recognize Edwards Nursery for their generous donation of 21 beautiful plants that went to the winners. We are grateful for your generosity.

Applications are now available for the 2026 City of Paducah, KY Veterans Day Parade and can pick up at the Paducah Parks and Recreation office, 2701 Park Ave. Paducah, KY or online at https://paducahky.gov/departments/parks-recreation/veterans-day-awards-and-events The deadline to submit is Thursday October 22nd.

Calling all local students! Paducah Parks and Recreation, along with the Paducah Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution invite you to participate in the 2026 Veterans Day Poster and Essay Contest. All entries must be submitted to Paducah Parks and Recreation Office at 2701 Park Avenue, Paducah KY, no later than 4:30pm on Thursday October 22nd.

Register for the annual City of Paducah, KY Christmas Parade. The theme this year is "Christmas on the River."

There is a $53 (tax included) application fee for submissions before October 30 at 4:30 pm. Applications received after deadline will be subject to an additional late fee of $30 and will not be accepted after Noon on November 24.

The parade will be held on Saturday December 5 at 5:00pm beginning at 14th & Broadway and will head towards the riverfront. More information, parade entry forms, & rules can be found online at:
