Fundamentals of Scrapbooking: Christmas Cards Workshop

Join us at the Johnson County Cooperative Extension Service for a hands-on Fundamentals of Scrapbooking class! Participants will learn basic paper crafting techniques, including scoring, trimming, and folding paper. By the end of the session, each participant will create a set of keepsake Christmas cards with envelopes to take home.

This beginner-friendly workshop is a great opportunity to learn new crafting skills while creating handmade holiday cards.

August was a record-breaking month for ARH Diabetes Education!
Through education, screenings, outreach and support, our team reached 267 community members across Kentucky and West Virginia. Highlights included:
🔹 83 free A1C screenings
🔹 15 outreach events across 10 counties and two states
🔹 172 participants at Diabetes Connection meetings—a new monthly attendance record
🔹 National recognition for Ashley Webb and Tiffany Dixon at ADCES26
These numbers represent more than services provided, they represent people gaining knowledge, finding support and taking meaningful steps toward better health.
We are proud of our Diabetes Education team and grateful to the community partners and participants who make this work possible. Together, we’re creating more opportunities for healthier lives across Appalachia.
