The rain may have stopped our outdoor team-building activity, but it DIDN’T stop the FUN, LEARNING, or PRODUCTIVITY at Glowing Goals!

Our youth kept the energy going indoors with games, educational activities, teamwork, laughter, and a delicious meal!

At the Palatka Housing Authority, we’re creating a space where our youth can learn, build friendships, develop confidence, and GLOW toward their goals!

READY TO BUILD YOUR FUTURE IN THE SKILLED TRADES?

Palatka Housing Authority residents interested in construction, HVAC, and other skilled-trade careers are encouraged to learn more about the upcoming NCCER Core Construction Level I Program through St. Johns River State College!

This hands-on training is an opportunity to gain foundational skills that can help prepare you for employment and more advanced skilled-trades training.

YOU’LL LEARN:
• Construction safety
• Basic tools and equipment
• Construction math
• Workplace communication
• Employability skills
• Introduction to construction trades
• Hands-on foundational construction skills

SESSION 1:
October 27 – November 19, 2026
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
4:00–7:30 PM

SESSION 2:
January 12 – February 24, 2027
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
4:00–7:30 PM

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Both Session 1 and Session 2 are required to complete the NCCER Core Level I certification.

Financial assistance may be available to eligible participants.
