The election is history. The people have spoken. The voters have re-elected the incumbents’ that gave us increased taxation in the name of the children. Our public school system spends more than $17,300 per student. You can get a private-school education, in Palatka, for $7,000. Think of the possibilities.

In reference to the up-coming county-commission and school-district elections in Putnam County, I offer the following: Voting for an incumbent or someone that held that office before and expecting them to steer the county toward being fiscally-conservative, is like having the Titanic back-up and hit the iceberg a second time.
