We are proud to recognize Ashley Ormsby as the Spotlight Award Winner. She is a Rock Star for Re-Entry!

Officer Joshua Machogu from the Powledge Unit was not nominated for the Spotlight Award by the Administration but by his “Co-Workers”. Warden Raymond was visiting the evening shift and several officers approached her requesting that he receive this honor. Instantly the request was granted due to his team work, dependability and work performance. This is how we build morale and support our wonderful staff. Thank you Officer Machogu for standing out and being you!

The Powledge Unit would like to celebrate with Officer Susan Ogango as she was selected as Employee of the Month for October. Her quiet demeanor is a testament to the level of respect and professionalism she is shown by staff and inmates as well. She is an officer that shows up, does great, and then asks, “What else do you need?”. Thank you Officer Ogango!

At the Powledge Unit, we’re proud to highlight the incredible talent and positive spirit of our unit artists. Their newest murals bring uplifting messages, bright color, and a sense of hope to our facility.

These artists have worked hard to create artwork that inspires everyone who passes by—showing what creativity, teamwork, and pride in our unit can accomplish.

Great job to all involved! Your dedication is making a real difference. 🎨👏

The Powledge Unit would like to recognize a few of the “court officers” used as security at the Anderson County Courthouse. These officers represent professionalism to the highest level and we are proud to present each of them with a Spotlight Award. (More pictures to come)
