The Millage renewal supports students, educators, and schools across Brevard Public Schools. This is not a new tax.

As shown in the graphic, 80% of Millage funding supports employee compensation, 16% supports additional programs for students, and 4% supports technology. These investments help provide competitive compensation, expand opportunities for students, and support modern learning environments.

Every Millage dollar is invested in supporting student success across Brevard Public Schools.

The Millage renewal invests directly in the educators who serve Brevard students every day. This is not a new tax.

80% of Millage funding supports employee compensation, including additional pay for instructional personnel based on their years of teaching experience and performance.

At Heritage High School, Ms. Jennifer Rock brings 25 years of teaching experience to the classroom. Her passion for music and theater inspires students to discover their talents, build confidence, and express their creativity both on stage and throughout the Heritage community. Their experience helps provide students with strong instruction, consistency, and support year after year.

By recognizing the value of experience, Millage-funded compensation increases over time to reward educators for their years of service and dedication to their profession. This investment encourages experienced teachers to continue building their careers in Brevard Public Schools, benefiting both students and school communities.
