If you could ask an astronaut a question.......What would you ask?

November 17th an astronaut is coming to speak to Southwest students. We are so excited to see the thoughtful questions our students will have for him. The students need to get a permission form signed and pose a REALLY GOOD question. The students with the best questions will be given a "Ticket to Launch" and will be invited to the event. It should be a great time for all!

Permission slips will be available during lunch and the drop box for questions is on the Media Center window.

The Sales Surtax and Millage work together to support Brevard Public Schools. Neither are new taxes. Both are already in place.
Sales Surtax funding helps maintain secure, modern school facilities and technology infrastructure, while Millage funding supports the people and programs that make learning happen every day. Each funding source serves a distinct purpose, and the funds cannot be used interchangeably.
Here's what they funded and the impact they have had at Southwest Middle School.
Strong Schools. Strong Brevard.
