Bay Area Friendship Circle [email protected] - www.bayareafc.org In addition, we create opportunities for families to meet, make friends and gain support from one another.

Established in 2003, the Bay Area Friendship Circle is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive community for children and teens with special needs, together with their families. We match teen volunteers to children with special needs and provide programs and activities designed to include, involve and motivate. Participants develop relationships with peers together with their teen volunteers, in a fully inclusive and welcoming environment. Our teen volunteers provide friendship, support and mentoring to our participants as they join together in programs and activities. The collaboration gives our volunteers a deep appreciation for the inherent values in individuals of all abilities. In addition, our volunteers learn about the importance of community involvement and strengthen the sensitivity and social skills needed to become caring and committed Jewish leaders. 🌟🌟🌟Introducing our 2026/2027 AFTERNOON LEADERSHIP CIRCLE!!!! 🌟🌟🌟

Leadership Circle is a select group of experienced teen volunteers who take on additional responsibilities to support our volunteer community. These dedicated teens mentor younger and new volunteers, help plan pre- and post-program volunteer training sessions, organize volunteer-only events, and recruit new volunteers to join FC.

By sharing their experience and bringing fresh ideas, our teen leaders help fellow volunteers feel welcomed, prepared, and connected. We’re grateful for their commitment and excited to introduce this year’s Leadership Circle!

What an incredible day! Another amazing WalkWithFC took place this past Sunday, and thank YOU for being a part of it!

With over 300 individuals, families, volunteers, advocates, supporters, sponsors, and community members coming together, the day was truly special. This year, we really did reach for the stars—celebrating what Friendship Circle is all about: including, connecting, and celebrating every individual.

Help us cross the finish line and reach $175,000! We’re 95% of the way there, so close to our $175,000 goal. If you haven’t had a chance to contribute—or would like to help us make one final push—please consider making a donation at WalkWithFC.com.
