Attention all Libby App users! Be aware that the Palouse Library will be hosting a Libby/Kanopy Class on Tuesday, November 10 at 4:00pm. Also, click this post for more details about your soon-to-be-required PIN numbers. Questions? Contact us or stop by the library 📚

Starting on Thursday, October 15 you'll need to enter a PIN # along with your library card number when signing into the Libby and Kanopy apps.

What is your PIN?

For many accounts, the PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number used on the account. However, this is not the case for every account.

If the last 4 digits of your phone number don’t work, or you’re not sure what your PIN is, contact any branch of Whitman County Library and we’ll be happy to help!

What a perfect slice of Palouse history to remind you all that Palouse Days is THIS WEEKEND. Come celebrate our amazing town on Saturday, September 19!

Palouse Day, Palouse, Washington, 1954

The first Palouse Day sponsored by the Jaycees. The Legion Building is now the City Library and City Hall. The C.O.D. Market burned several years after this photo was taken. The Pastime Tavern is now part of the Printing Museum.

Note: read names left to right with Earl McKenzie on far right in the window.
