Echo Response EMS is currently seeking an experienced Ambulance Biller/Coder to join our growing team!

💻 This is a REMOTE position, with occasional in-person meetings required in Pana, Illinois.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with experience in ambulance or medical billing, knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance, and the ability to work independently.

✅ Medical billing/coding experience preferred
✅ CAC, CPC, CPB, or similar certification preferred
✅ Knowledge of insurance claims and denial resolution
✅ Strong organizational and computer skills

At Echo Response EMS, we proudly serve the communities of Pana, Moweaqua, Shelbyville, and Jacksonville, Illinois. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team dedicated to providing quality emergency medical services.

What an amazing Labor Day morning!

I want to personally thank all of our Echo Response EMS employees, friends, and family members who came out to join us for our annual Labor Day Breakfast. As many of you know, this is truly one of my favorite days of the year—a chance to spend time together outside of work and celebrate the incredible Echo family we have built.

We didn’t get nearly as many pictures as we would have liked because we were busy enjoying the morning with around 100 people who joined us!

It means so much to me to see our employees from all of our divisions make the trip to Pana and be a part of this special day. With everyone working different schedules and spread across different communities, having so many of us together in one place is something I never take for granted.

A special thank you to Save-A-Lot for catering our breakfast this morning and helping make the day even more enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you to all of our employees, families, and friends for the continued support you give Echo Response EMS. I am incredibly proud of our team and grateful for the people who make up our Echo family.

God bless our little community. It is truly humbling to see the outpouring of love and support this community and surrounding communities give one another during times of tragedy.

🚒 Congratulations on Your Retirement, Randy Kay & Stacey Kay! 🚑

Today, we want to recognize and sincerely thank two individuals who have dedicated decades of their lives to serving the Tower Hill community.

Stacey Kay has given more than 35 years of service to the Tower Hill Fire Department, and Randy Kay has given more than 38 years of service. That level of commitment, sacrifice, and selflessness is something truly special.

From the very first day Echo Response EMS opened its doors, Randy and Stacy have been supporters of our organization. Their friendship, encouragement, and willingness to work alongside our crews have meant more to us than words can express.

You both will certainly be missed on calls in the future. Over the years, you have made a lasting impact on every single one of us at Echo Response EMS and on countless people throughout the communities you have served.

More than 30 years of answering calls, helping neighbors on their worst days, sacrificing time, and putting others before yourselves is an incredible legacy.
