Good afternoon, Students and Families,

This Thursday, October 22, we will be administering the PSAT to all 10th grade students, as well as select 11th and 12th grade students.

We will be following an alternate bell schedule on Thursday, with 1st period beginning at 11:15 AM. The bell schedule is attached to this email for your reference.

Students who are not testing will report to the following locations until 11:10 AM:

Gym: All 9th grade students and any 10th grade students who arrive late and are unable to test.
Cafeteria: 11th and 12th grade students who are not testing.


Please make sure your student knows where to report Thursday morning. Students who are testing should arrive on time and report directly to their assigned testing location.

Our Arnold High School Blue Thunder Band scored straight superiors at their annual Music Performance Assessment (MPA) at Tommy Oliver last night! Scores are based on music, general effect, visual performance, and auxiliary! This group, Mr. Gudz, and all the leaders put in a LOT of time and hard work during marching season and it paid off! We are so proud of you!

Each week, Marlin Media plans to focus on a particular program at Arnold High School. This week, we visited the Construction classroom, led by Coach Pulley. He shared with us that this program gives students the opportunity to develop hands-on skills that can prepare them for careers in the skilled trades immediately after graduation. Students learn skills like using tools and reading a tape measure, while also having opportunities to train on CAT simulators and receive their heavy equipment certification. From building homes to preparing land, construction plays an important role in our community’s infrastructure. This program helps students build a foundation for future career opportunities while also learning valuable skills they can use throughout their lives!

AHS Yearbook Staff packed 500 “elf goody bags” for the NWF Health Network. These goody bags will go to volunteers who help make Christmas extra special for foster families in Bay and surrounding counties. 💙
