We are excited to have you as part of our school family and encourage you to join us by becoming actively involved in creating a positive learning environment and celebrating our success along the way. There are many opportunities in which you may become involved: A-FIT (Angler-Family Involvement Team), SAC (School Advisory Council), and volunteering in classrooms or with special projects…we love our volunteers! Believing that all of our students will be a success, we will focus on learning for all, student safety, responsibility, and respect. Together we can make the difference for the students who attend Deer Point Elementary School. We will work to develop model citizens through the use of Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and our school-wide expectations. CAST is a school wide acronym for Control yourself, Act respectfully, Show citizenship and Take responsibility. We are ready to prove it…we are excited to have the opportunity to show it…and we are confident in our collective abilities.
