🦅It isn’t often that the Golden Eagles Bilingual School from Honduras get to visit the University Academy Eagles in Panama City! 🦅 We loved sharing “a day in middle school life” with these amazing students. They were articulate, kind, curious and had a strong appreciation for education. Thank you for sharing your culture with us!🇭🇳🇺🇸 Until next time…

🔬⚙️ Engineering Meets Human-Centered Design at UA!

UA Middle School Science classes welcomed some special visitors from FSU Inspire! While the FSU Inspire team typically works with teachers, this time they brought their expertise straight to our students.

Students explored “Human Design,” taking the traditional Engineering Design Process a step further. Through real-world scenarios, they identified the needs of multiple stakeholders before designing a product—learning that the best solutions don’t just solve one problem, but consider the people who will be impacted along the way.

It was a great opportunity for our students to put critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration into action. 🧠💡

A big thank you to FSU Inspire for bringing this hands-on learning experience to UA! ❤️🩶 Systems Institute | FCR-STEM

💙 Small Acts of Kindness, BIG Impact! 💙

Our September school-wide service project was a huge success! Thanks to the generosity of our UA families, we collected diapers for the Junior League of Panama City's Diaper Bank to help support families in our community.

Our school-wide T-shirt Day, combined with a generous match from our Academy PTO, raised an incredible $690! 🎉

A special thank you to our Kindergarten team for sponsoring this month's project, our PTO for doubling the impact, and our entire UA family for coming together to make a difference!
