ROAD OPEN!
Hwy P28/Wagon Road is open to thru traffic!

Thank you very much to everyone who was patient throughout the process. Large-scale road projects never end quickly enough and delays create headaches for everyone involved. We are thankful to our many partners for making this * Much * Needed * Project * happen.

Enjoy your weekend. Travel safely no matter where you are headed!

**Road Closed signs have been gone for a little while, but we needed to make it Facebook official!**

Due to excessive rains and the pending forecast for more, we are closing the bottom campground at Nations Bridge Park. This closure will be until further notice. As soon as the bottom campground is dried out enough to allow camping, we will open it back up and let everyone know through this media. Thank you for your understanding.

📣 Your voice matters and we need your input! 📣

The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT), in partnership with 20+ cities and counties, is applying to receive critical federal grant funding specifically for bridge replacement. The 60-year-old South Street Bridge in Panora has been identified as one on this list. This bridge spans the Middle Raccoon River and directly connects Soldier Trail, Toy Lane and River Road to the city of Panora and Lenon Mill Park. You can help us out by completing a brief survey to support the grant application. THANK YOU!

The Raccoon River Valley Trail will be closed in Guthrie County, North of Herndon, from 110th Street to 100th Street (Greene County Line). The attached picture shows the closed section in red.
Northern Natural Gas will be doing some work on their line that was just discovered. The work will be done in the RRVT right of way. With large machinery doing the work, for safety reasons, the RRVT will be closed at this time. No timeframe has been set for reopening of the RRVT or completion of the project. As soon as the work is completed, the RRVT will be reopened and we will let everyone know along these same information lines. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

While Hwy P28/Wagon Road is getting much needed rehabilitation this summer, Nations Bridge Park & Campground is OPEN! Through at least the July 4th holiday weekend, please access the park’s entrance from the north. Later this summer, there will be a shift, and we’ll ask campers and hikers to access the park’s entrance from the south.
