**Road Closure Notice**

Pressonville Road between 303rd Street and 311th Street will be closed to thru traffic today, Monday, September 21, 2026, for construction.
The road is expected to reopen this afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

Cedar Niles Road will be closed from 327th Street to 335th Street today, September 18th. The road is estimated to reopen at 2:00pm.

K-68 will be one lane from Somerset to New Lancaster. Traffic will be guided through the construction zone with pilot cars.

Friday 9/25/26 7:00am-5:00pm
K-68 will be one lane from Somerset to Block Road. Traffic will be guided through the construction zone with pilot cars.

Monday 9/28/26-Wednesday 9/30/26 7:00am-5:00pm
K-68 will be one lane from Somerset to Block Road. Traffic will be guided through the construction zone with pilot cars.

Motorists are asked to allow extra time for these paving operations.

🚧 K-68 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧

Officials with Miami County Road and Bridge, the City of Louisburg, and the Miami County Sheriff’s Office recently met with HNTB, a consultant working with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT), to discuss the upcoming K-68 improvement project.

Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, September 21, 2026.

During the project, motorists should expect:

🚦 Periods when K-68 will be reduced to one lane of traffic
🚦 Temporary traffic signals controlling traffic through construction areas
⏱️ Potential delays of approximately 15 minutes while traveling K-68 between U.S. 169 Highway and U.S. 69 Highway

We encourage motorists who regularly travel this route to allow additional time, remain alert in construction zones, and use caution around workers and equipment.

**Road Closure Notice - 287th Street**

Beginning on Monday, July 13, 2026, 287th Street between Plum Creek Road and Lookout Road will be closed to through traffic for a road reconstruction project. This is a 90-calendar-day project with an estimated completion date of October 7, 2026.

The official detour route is Lonestar Road to K-68 Hwy to Pressonville Road.

Please plan accordingly and allow for extra travel time. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed.
