Did you know that keeping old, unused, or expired prescription medications in your home can pose accidental poisoning and misuse risks?

Safely clearing out your medicine cabinet is a simple, powerful step you can take to protect your family, your community, and the environment. Drug take-back programs make it easy and secure to dispose of medications so they don't end up where they shouldn't be.

Why proper disposal matters:
👉 Prevents accidental poisonings in children and pets
👉 Reduces risks of prescription drug misuse and overdose
👉 Protects local water sources and soil from improper disposal methods like flushing or throwing them in the trash

Ready to clean out your cabinet? Find a secure disposal site near you using the interactive tool at https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/3f46876d8cfa4f42981a6ba4922d554d/page/Resource-Maps?views=Drug-Take-Back-Sites
