Join us for a fun, supportive, and inclusive ball hockey experience designed for youth ages 5 to 18! Participants will have the opportunity to build skills, stay active, and enjoy the game in a welcoming environment.

📅 Thursdays, October 22, 29, and November 5 and 12
📍 Paramount Futsal Court (14400 Paramount Blvd.)
👥 Open to Paramount residents and PUSD students

Practice Times:
Ages 5 to 7: 5 to 5:30 p.m.
Ages 8 to 11: 5:35 to 6:05 p.m.
Ages 12 to 18: 6:10 to 6:40 p.m.

👉 The Haunted House will take place on Oct. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m., at the Paramount Park Gym (14400 Paramount Blvd). Each ticket is $3 and allows for two entries, with all proceeds benefiting the Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) Scholarship program. All ages welcome.

🎟️ To purchase tickets, visit: https://bit.ly/FrightPass (case-sensitive, link in bio). Only e-payments are accepted for this event— no cash. Guests under 18 require a signed parent waiver.

🕸️ 🏚️ DEADLINE EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 16 - Paramount's Halloween Home Decorating Contest!
🔗 Enter for a chance to win exciting prizes and be added to our Spooky Homes digital map! Visit http://bit.ly/HalloweenHomeDeco for the application and full list of rules (case-sensitive, link in bio).
🏆 PRIZES
- Top 3 winners will receive a $100 gift card.
- 2 homes will be recognized with honorable mentions.
🍬 Prizes will be distributed at the November 10, 2026 Council Meeting. Attendance is required.
✅ RULES
- This contest is open to City of Paramount residents ONLY (City employees excluded).
- All homes must show some effort and creativity in order to participate (subject to the Community Services Department).
- Entry applications must be received no later than 5:00 P.M. on Friday, October 16.
- City staff will reach out once your application is reviewed and schedule a time in the evening to take a picture of your decorated home. (Still photos will be professionally taken on October 21 or October 22. Homes will not be filmed)
- Decorated homes must be accessible to be viewed from the public street and sidewalk.
- Decorations must be free from political messaging, sexual content, and violence.
- Participants agree to have their address posted on the digital map of decorated homes, which will be placed on the City’s website and social media pages.
- Winners will be determined by a majority vote from our followers between October 22 and October 26.
- Winners will be announced on October 30.
- Participants are asked to keep their decorations up through October 31.

📅 IMPORTANT DATES
- Deadline for entry: October 16 by 5:00 P.M.
- Photos of the decorated homes will be taken on October 21 or October 22 (Homes must be fully decorated by October 20)
- Digital Map Posted: October 22
- Voting period: October 22 through October 26 (voting link will be posted October 22)

Community services staff is bringing the fun to your local parks with mobile activities, board games, crafts, & more!🌳 Happening every third Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from July to October.

🎖️Join us for our Veterans Day Ceremony as we honor the men and women who have served our nation. This special tribute is an opportunity for our community to come together in gratitude and recognition of the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of our veterans.
