Tomorrow! Draw inspiration from our beautiful Kindleberger Park and its gorgeous Garden, or take the time for your own writing while in company with fellow wordsmiths.
This 30-minute writing session is followed by a short optional time to share your writing. It doesn't matter if you're just getting started or if you've been journaling/publishing/jotting things down for years - we can all use a little time to dedicate to writing, and to talking to others who enjoy doing the same!
If the weather allows, we'll meet outside at the Kindleberger Park Historic Marker behind the Library, but if not, we will meet inside the Library instead, so dress in layers! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and your own writing materials.

Write Out is an annual celebration hosted by the National Writing Project that inspires writers to draw from the world around them through place-based writing and sharing — deepening connections to place, nature, and community. Free and open to all, this year’s Write Out celebration will take place October 11–25, 2026. This year’s theme, Write Where We Stand, centers writing in the places that shape and sustain us.
