The transmission provider has called our team and let us know that City Of Paris electric customers should have power back on. Our team is checking our breaker stations again to confirm everything still looks good on our end. If you are a City of Paris Electric customer and do not have power in the next 10 minutes, call the Paris Police Department at 963-2600. Thank you for your patience.

Still no timeline, our team has reached out and the transmission supplier hasn’t identified the problem. We have checked our breaker station though to make sure our stuff is good and it’s fine. As soon as the transmission issue is resolved we will be back on. The same issue has also caused outages in Arkansas Valley Electric system as well, with outages in Cecil, Lavaca, Charleston, Branch and Ratcliff. As soon as we get an update we will let you know.

OG&E has a transmission issue that has caused an outage in the entire area, including City of Paris as our breaker station is inside an OG&E substation. We will keep you updated as we find out more information.

***HOLIDAY TRASH SCHEDULE***

The City of Paris will be closed Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Due to the holiday, trash pickup will run 1 day behind (Sept. 8th-11th).
