PWSD #2 of Monroe County is accepting applications for a fulltime position as a water/wastewater operator.

A successful candidate will have skills and experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and operation of construction equipment. A valid MO driver’s license and good driving record is required, and a CDL is preferred. Qualified candidates must be able to perform heavy physical labor in all weather conditions and be willing to accept overtime/on-call responsibility. Individual must have or be able to obtain certification through Missouri Department of Natural Resources as a certified operator for both water and wastewater with in a one-year period.

Benefits available after probationary period include health insurance, vacation, sick leave and retirement. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience. A post-employment Doctor’s Physical and drug testing is required.
