We peeked into the STEM lab at Stone Middle School and found students hard at work bringing their ideas to life! Using Tinkercad, a 3D design program, students were creating digital models, including some pretty impressive airplane designs!

At North Lamar, students in grades 2–5 get to explore STEM through a weekly rotation, while students in grades 6–8 can take STEM as an elective. These classes give our Panthers opportunities to think creatively, solve problems, and build skills that go beyond the classroom.

We love seeing what our future engineers and innovators are dreaming up! 💙💛🐾

Mrs. Jones’ science students put their math and science skills to the test with a hands-on lab exploring average speed!

Using tennis balls, meter sticks, and stopwatches, students measured distance and time to calculate how fast an object traveled. Through this experiment, they got to see how motion, measurement, and math all work together!

Who says learning science can't be fun?

Tomorrow, October 21, North Lamar ISD is joining schools across the nation in celebrating Unity Day, a part of National Bullying Prevention Month!

Unity Day is all about building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. By wearing orange, we send a powerful message that we stand together against bullying and support those who have experienced it.

🧡 Panther Family, wear your ORANGE tomorrow! Let's fill our campuses with orange and show that kindness matters, everyone belongs, and together we can make a difference!
