We gave the teens air-dry clay and they gave us a collection of tiny horrors. 💀👹 Honestly? We’re a little obsessed.

What a day! 💙📚
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our new home at the PEAK Center—and to everyone who helped make our Book Brigade such a special part of the day! Passing those books from hand to hand was such a fun way to celebrate our library, our community, and this new chapter together. 📖✨
From checking out books to help us Check Out the Move to helping us pass them along in our Book Brigade, you’ve been part of this journey every step of the way. We couldn’t have done it without you!
We’re so grateful for everyone who has supported us throughout this move, and we can’t wait for the day we can officially open our doors and welcome you in. We’ll share more updates as soon as we’re able!
Thank you for helping us turn the page on this next chapter. 💙

📚✨ Let books be.

Banned Books Week is October 4–10, and this year’s theme is “Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.”

Books help us explore new ideas, see ourselves reflected, understand experiences different from our own, and sometimes ask the questions that matter most.

This week, we’re celebrating the freedom to read — and the wonderfully weird, challenging, thought-provoking books that make our shelves worth exploring. ❤️📖

A paperback copy of “Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place” by Terry Tempest Williams is passed from hand to hand down a line of community members, followed by another book. And another. “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch made its way from person to person, and someone handed over...

BRB… quick trip to San Diego! 🌴⚾️📚
Our traveling library card made its way to Petco Park! 🧢
We love seeing where our library cards go, because your library card isn’t just for checking out books—it’s your ticket to a whole world of stories, wherever your adventures take you.
📍 Where will our library card travel next?

You’ve seen the library. But have you seen this side of it? 👀
The downstairs is staff-only storage these days, but it has a pretty interesting history. Fun fact: the Coalville Library building was once a hospital, and the basement was home to the morgue. 😳
So while we’re just storing library things down here now… we can’t say the history doesn’t make the basement feel a little 👻
Don’t worry—we’ll keep the creepy basement to ourselves. 😂

Shoutout to 𝙎𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 for the inspo 😌
