What a perfect day for our Posse Horse Certification!!
We had 5 horse and 5 riders certify. The horses were taken through a course with several obstacles, tested with a stroller & umbrella, gun shot and siren, formation riding, ponying, and trailer loading.
Thank you Sheriff Aukes for all you do!
It was a fun day and everyone did great!!
And we remembered to take pictures this time!

We had a little impromptu "training" today.
We got our posse horse certification course ready for next week, tested it out and then went for a nice ride.
All good experience and training for the horses.

The Hubbard County Sheriff's Mounted Posse was at the Park Rapids Night to Unite this evening.
It was a beautiful day, perfect for an outdoor event. It was so much fun seeing all the kids who enjoyed meeting and petting Posse Horse Penny, she loved all the attention!! Unfortunately, we were bad about taking pictures ourselves so we only got a couple. Please feel free to share any pictures you took, especially of Penny.
Thank you all for your support!!

Despite the threat of rain it turned out to be a beautiful night for fireworks.
We loved seeing all the people who came out to enjoy the beautiful display.
