Please join Assemblymember Chris R. Holden, Senator Maria Elena Durazo and others and attend the UnTapped Legislative Water Workshop at Pasadena City College on Saturday, September 21, 2024, @ 9am.

The panel discussions will be framed for the benefit of local elected officials or anyone who may want to learn more about the water policy and practices that impact the daily lives of our shared constituencies and every community in and around the 41st Assembly District.

The workshop will be a great opportunity to discuss timely issues facing our communities, regions, and the State of California. For your reference, topics that will likely be included are:

Water Policy and Legislation
Funding Water Infrastructure
Quality and Affordability of Water Connections & Delivery
Sustainability and Environment
Challenges and Opportunity

If you haven’t heard the news, you are not going to like this: The California Democratic Party canceled remote voting only for the Progressive Caucus election.
Even though COVID is killing 200-300 people per month in California, even though the Party itself is doing remote voting at this Convention, even though other Caucuses are doing remote voting, and even though we have done dozens of events with remote voting, somehow THIS meeting can’t have remote voting. Any guesses on why?
Well, duh! The people in the Party that kneel at the altar of corporate cash (heck, there’s a fossil fuel executive on our opposition slate) do NOT want your voices heard.
So, here’s the new action plan to win this election and crush the fossil fuel baddies!
