Mentoring & Partnership for Youth Development (MPYD) is a nonprofit mentoring organization located inside historic John Muir High School in Pasadena, CA.
MPYD is a non-profit organization founded in 2002 at John Muir High School. Then Principal Eddie Newman, Ed.D, recognized that the behavior of the male student body contributed to a number of concerns such as low academic scores, violence and truancy.
