Share
Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at Neighborhood UU Church in Pasadena CA unless otherwise noted. Open to all who ID as "white" and anti-racist.
Dedicated to collective liberation, eliminating white supremacy, and educating ourselves on our privilege. The mission of Neighborhood Church is to serve the spirit as each individual understands it, to serve the educational and pastoral needs of our own community, and to serve the larger world through actions that further social justice. Description
We are a faith community born of the progressiv
e elements of western religions, but draw our inspirations from the whole world of sacred teachings. We have always affirmed the freedom of religious belief and asserted that the individual person is the final authority in matters of belief. We have placed freedom and reason and tolerance at the center of the spiritual life, and encourage all of our members to engage with their whole self to discover a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in their lives.
