Happy Sunday Vikings!!

For those members of the Class of 1973 who are interested in attending a 50th Golden Anniversary Reunion in 2023, I need to know how many people are interested ASAP, besides the ones who have already replied to my previous post.

I have been sitting here thinking of something to do exciting, fun, and not too expensive for people to afford. The first question was where? Then it hit me! What famous location in the Pasadena area has not had a Blair High class reunion held there? (As far as I know)

How about "The Santa Anita Racetrack"!
It has great food, dining room indoors or out, to enjoy a day of WHAT?? "The Kentucky Derby Day" live horse racing is held at Santa Anita on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Even if you don't bet on the ponies, watching them is just as fun.

I am looking at the availability of reserved seating for large groups of up to 100+ guests at this point, and it's only 7 months away. I need to see a show of 👋 if this is something that interests you as our main event? I'll include a link and pics to the event areas of the racetrack I think would be great.

The admission fee is reasonable and includes park admission, and general parking.
Remember, this is the first idea I thought would be easy to do. No hotel ballroom to reserve, you can order what you want to eat instead of hotel banquet food, and you get to dress to the Nines on Kentucky Derby Day! LADIES! Time to find that perfect hat. Can you say "Mint Juleps" anyone?

So let me know what you think of this first and hopefully only plan if you all like it. As soon as they open Monday, I will get more information. I need to know by Thanksgiving if this is a YEAH or NAY idea so I can keep moving forward and know how many people want to be included. I'll entertain all ideas if anyone has any.

Class of 1995...Your 25th anniversary is coming up. Any plans for a reunion?

Well it's that time of year again! Graduation is near and Vikings are moving up or moving on to higher education and the Adult world of starting a career in the private sector.

I wish all of the Class of 2018 a heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS on their success in completing 4 years of Blair High School and continued success in their future endeavors. Job well done!!

Remember we are a Family of Vikings and those who went before you share the pride that your families feel; that another class of Blair students are about to represent in the real world, their ideas, ambitions, and devotion to your future developments to make America better for the next generation.

Enjoy your graduation, and CONGRATULATIONS VIKING GRADS 2018!!

Happy New Year to all Blair Viking's alumni! I've been watching this page from afar and I'm glad to see that people are still using it as a way to communicate and share ideas and keep in touch with their friends. I want to thank Miss Dianne Moore for all of her hard work as Chief Admin and keeping this page active over the past year. I have been very busy with other groups as well as I recently (6 mo ago) moved from California to Washington State. Please continue to support our alma mater and hopefully I will see some of you in the near future when I come back to Pasadena to visit family and friends.

Well HELLO FELLOW VIKINGS!!

Sorry I've been MIA for some time but I've got a lot going on these days.

For those of you who don't keep up with me personally on my FB page, let me tell you that I am transferring from my job at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda to my place of birth, WA state and the VA Hospital American Lakes, Tacoma, WA. I leave next week and will be living near my daughter and my 5 grandsons and a bunch of family members.

I will continue monitoring this group page, but am turning the reins over to the other ADMINS. I have full confidence they will keep you all informed on the happenings going on at our Alma Mater. I look forward to the finished renovations of William Blair Middle & High Schools.
