Twenty-five years ago today, our world stopped.
We still remember where we were that Tuesday morning, and we will never forget the 2,977 innocent lives lost in New York, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, PA.
We honor the 412 first responders who ran toward the smoke and rubble without a second thought, giving everything so others might live. We keep in our prayers the families who have lived with an empty chair for a quarter of a century, along with the rescue and recovery workers who are still carrying the physical scars of that day and its aftermath.
Through the darkest hours of that morning, our nation responded not with defeat, but with unity, resilience, an unwavering spirit of service and unity. Our country pulled together with purpose and resolve.
Today I ask you to take a quiet moment along with me to remember them, to pray for their loved ones, and to hold onto the promise we made - We will never forget.

If you didn't watch or listening to the game last night; watch this on the field interview with Coach. "Upon the fields of friendly strife are sown the seeds that, upon other fields, on other days, will bear the fruits of victory"
Regardless of the score ending in a W for Petal; it was the path getting there that is going to be most impactful. Listening to Coach Marcus Boyles words - demonstrates why coaching is so meaningful in the lives of our youth - regardless of the score at any particular time. Time in sports and other activities and competing as a team - helps develops the character of our future generations, men and women.
