On Tuesday, October 20, the River Ridge 5th and 6th grade classes took a field trip in conjunction with Mr. Troy Dilley and the Art Department to Taliesin in the Driftless Area near Spring Green, WI. Taliesin is the name of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 37,000 square foot home, studio and school on an 800 acre estate that includes buildings from nearly every decade of Wright’s architectural career from the 1890’s to the 1950’s. In 1976, Taliesin was designated as a National Historic Landmark! The students were also accompanied by 5th grade teachers…Mrs. Tricia Hoffman and Mr. Shawn Chatfield.
